Who is Nick Lowe, you ask?  Unless you're the type of music fan who reads liner notes, you may not be aware of his influence and stature.  He is the legendary pub rocker formerly of Rockpile. He's also:

-  The producer of the first 5, classic, Elvis Costello albums.
-  The composer of Costello's signature song "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace Love And Understanding". 
- The producer of The Pretenders' single "Stop Your Sobbing".
-  The producer of The Damned's first album.  

"Cruel To Be Kind" is Mr. Lowe's best known U.S hit and definitely a classic song in every way.

Fue un grupo de estilo pop rock y soft rock británico, originario de Mánchester que tuvo gran éxito especialmente en la década de 1970. Inicialmente la banda constaba de cuatro integrantes, Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley, and Lol Creme; quienes han compuesto y grabado juntos durante tres años, antes de asumir el nombre "10cc" en 1972.

Su debut fue en el año 1974 y alcanzaron su mayor éxito en 1975 con la canción "I'm not in love" y lograron también reconocimiento con otras, tales como: Silly Love, Wall Street Shuffle y Dreadlock Holiday.
