Description: These songs took a long time to create! I started writing "Heart of Hearts" in 2017, along with all the songs I wrote for the previous album. I loved the song but felt like it didn't quite fit on that album. Five years later, it's finally been recorded. "Reach" is a newer song that only took a year or so to record.:)

I sampled our baby saying "up please" and "babies" and constructed this loop bit with garageband on my wife's iphone. We all had way too much fun with this.

Heart Of Hearts

A morning at Summit Crossing listening to this hymn being discussed prompted me to begin singing through it. A new melody and rhythm snuck into my head and it just seemed to play itself. I am really enjoying the new version, I hope you enjoy it too!
