'Fail Like You Mean It' was recorded between auditoriums and bedrooms in Scott's hometown of Brisbane over the better part of two years, with twenty or so friends, including Seja Vogel (Regurgitator), Megan Washington (Washington), Adele Pickvance (The Go-Betweens), John Parker (Misinterprotato), Heinz Riegler (Not From There), Chris Pickering, and Yeo Choong (Yeo) among others.
