A short and very simple piece demonstrating a 9-tone subset of 31 equal divisions of the octave: intervals 7 2 4 5 4 1 1 2 5 (degrees 0 7 9 13 18 22 23 24 26) - in response to Andrew Heathwaite's suggestion to come up with some novel non-MOS 9-tone scales in 31edo.  Recorded in Reaper with Axis-49 and two instances of XenFont (sampled vibraphone and harp sounds).

Solo improvisation for (sampled) metallophone or something, exploring a pentatonic scale (mode 25252 of 16edo).  Recorded with Reaper, Axis-49 and Xenfont.  Sort of gamelan-inspired (although actual gamelan music isn't generally made with a computer, or in this sort of tuning, or even solo as far as i know :> )

As a mode of 53ed2, it is 3 3 3 5 3 3 3 5 3 3 3 5 3 3 5 (4L+11s).

The 13 EDOs of Xmas

A triad of filtered sawtooth waves.  The outer notes remain constant at 1/1 = 200 Hz("root) and 3/2 = 300 Hz ("fifth").  The inner note ("third") sweeps slowly from 500 cents ("fourth", approx 4/3) down to 200 cents ("second", approx 9/8), at a rate of 1 cent per second.  Therefore, the pitch of the third at time t (in seconds) is (500-t) cents.
