Working on getting Blacking Out down, we started playing it a little differently. I'm so out of practice. Roddy on CP-70, Barb on guitar, and Scott on violin. Maybe we'll be able to assemble something in the future that'll do justice to the live perfomance? Maybe.

Henry T. Brown - Blacking Out [alternate sketch]

This is a collaboration I did with Roddy Shrock. It is a 20 minute long improvisation done in two independent takes which were mixed together with only some level adjustments, but without any editing. Each take generally occupies one half of the soundfield. 

The guitar was played by Scott and recorded through a Lexicon 284 and Manley ELOP with a Maestro Parametric Filter. The Mac was played by Roddy and he used a bunch of stuff that I don't really understand. It was mixed on an 02r.

Zero is a new take on meditation/relaxation/concentration music. In a Zero space, a background is set, then nothing comes in over top of it...That's your space. Zero will earn the listener’s trust as it continues to simply hold the space, never vying for further attention. Compositions are repetitive, organically recorded rather than copy/pasted. Each iteration is a special snowflake.
