This week's Friday Challenge. I've had what by all rights is about the most amazing hardware synth made these days in my rack for a couple of years being totally neglected. Here are some random sounds from it I recorded trying to catalog some experiments. Sequencing mostly by automata programmed into Reaktor, sounds from my Dave Smith Instruments Poly Evolver rack.

Experiment 01: Evolver

Two goals here... one is to make myself get something out once a week thanks to @biggray. The other is to explore some synths that have been sitting around neglected. In that vein, there is little production here, just sounds from the Matrix 1000 since my Matrix 6r was acting up. A little reverb and delay and that's it. 

Experiment 02: Oberheim Matrix

Ambient/Cinematic experiments with my Moog Slim Phatty. All sounds are from the Phatty. Recorded into the 1/4" input of a Daking Mic Pre IV to Avid HD IO. Processing and Effects from Reaktor, Valhalla Shimmer, an empty warehouse impulse, and Echoboy. 2 bus processed through Manley Vari Mu.

Zero is a new take on meditation/relaxation/concentration music. In a Zero space, a background is set, then nothing comes in over top of it...That's your space. Zero will earn the listener’s trust as it continues to simply hold the space, never vying for further attention. Compositions are repetitive, organically recorded rather than copy/pasted. Each iteration is a special snowflake.
