Quickie from us: "So we actually wrote Fenech-Soler a while back with interest in working on their track ‘Magnetic,’ but we were too late it had already ran its course… Lucky for us they offered up their upcoming single ‘Last Forever’ and we loved it! We couldn’t be more excited to work with a band like Fenech-Soler, they have a great fresh sound, are working their asses off just as we are, and they have British accents, we love British accents… The only trouble of this song was the tempo. So, with that in mind we had to stretch the vocals but it actually turned out really nice over our chords. On top of that our chord work on the remix is a structure we had been playing with for a while and were very happy when the chords paired up nicely with the emotion of the song and the rest as music should, came naturally…”

At the time our track record we were a bit unknown so we appreciate the folks at Atlantic for letting us try a hand at this, but in the end it worked out for everyone as we think this is a pretty Massive song. Anyway, with this tune we wanted to get in on the massive bass kick that has been so popular in house but find a unique lead to compliment it. It was great because paired with Icona Pop's anthemic vocals of the classic Tupac song, the track has this great sing a long appeal but still get filthy at the drop. We have been waiting a LONG while to release this and playing it in all our sets so we are very excited to finally release it to the world for everyone to enjoy.'

Quickie from us: "HOLY SHIT, FINALLY THIS FUCKING SONG IS OUT... This song was meant to be an Edit to promote a show we had at LIV in december. Initially we had Disclosure's 'Fire Starts to Burn' over the track and thought the drop was way to hot to use someone else's vocal. So we had this ridiculous idea to create a song around the concept of the #SELFIE. We really weren't sure if this was the most brilliant idea, or worst idea we ever had... So we had our home girl Alexis come over and within an hour we had 2 verses and the song done. At that point in time we thought it was hilarious but we were quite sure how it would be received, but seeing as we aren't pussbags and music is about experimenting and having fun, we put it out. 2 days later the song had 200k plays and about 1% negative feedback. So we went to Dim Mak who we always loved as a label and asked them if they were interested in it, if we went back in added a new verse and changed the drops. 6 Weeks later here we are, with an amazing Music Video compiled with all this great submitted #Selfies from Fans, Friends, DJS and Celebs. So we hope you all enjoy the tune as much as we did putting this whole project together. Dave1's effortless vocal work that always feel as cool as it sounds, paired with the incredible melodies and instrumentation from Gemayel these guys really crushed. So when we were contacted to remix Jealous we honestly felt like we had a song that we felt could be as big as Daft Punk's, Get Lucky . After it was said and done, we were so happy with the remix we created. It gave the song that house dance feel, but didn't feel forced at all. Adventure Club - Wonder (The Chainsmokers Remix)

When we woke up at 10AM Friday morning to our manager shaking us and saying 'guess what you guys are playing Mainstage in 6 hours' we told him to fuck off and let us sleep and his joke wasn't funny. He insisted he wasn't lying and to turn up...then we lost our shit in excitement.

We decided we were going to wing it and keep in the mood of the spontaneity that was taken place. Let us tell you when we got on that stage for sound check we shat ourselves. Looking out into the huge open field from the booth (cause the gates hadn't opened) we just smiled ran to the bar and threw back a couple shots. 

This day and set is dedicated to everyone in our family, our close circle of friends who believed we could do this, our manager Adam and Enes who work harder than anyone in the business, and our agents Hunter and Mac who got us this taste and now nothing else will do and our fans who have supported us from our first remixes through the chaos of #SELFIE... Nobody in this music world has fans more connected and die hard than us! 

Life is a series of opportunities... you never know when you will get them but when they come however they come make sure you grab that motherfucker and win.

SO we realllllly we were looking forward to posting this live FULL set, but due to the rain our set was cut in 1/2. It sucked, but it's no ones fault, and EZOO was 100% right in calling it off as that storm was intense as hell. OF course we wish it hadn't happened but what can you do...

However, because of this we struggled with the idea of posting the live set because well it was only half of it, and we really wanted to wait till TomorrowWorld to do it again and with newer music at that point and well have it be a full hour... BUT you all convinced us otherwise, and we figured we all had a wild day that day and this mix is a great way to remember it... wait till the end and youll see why!

We of course had Bobby Shmurda as our guest, and he wasn't able to come out sadly, but hopefully we can do more cool stuff with him in the future. Sucks though cause we had been practicing our Shmoney dance for like 2 weeks!

Regardless, this day was huge for us. Just over a year ago we both borrowed Day passes from a friend, crossed the 103rd street bridge and attended EZOO as locals, we saw Felix Cartel, Morgan Page, Bingo Players, and others, and promised next year we would be playing this festival in our home city. We weren't sure how, we both sorta thought it was a crazy, but we were determined, it didn't matter what stage we would just be there as an artist, in fact we left early to get back to work... Well fast forward a year and we were playing on the mainstage. Now this isn't some cheesy, put your mind to it, you can do it, BS... those are lame...or even some dream come true BS... its just us telling you our story. Take from it what you want. Personally, its the fact that sometimes the craziest fantasies quickly become realities, good or bad and you just never know... This is something we wanted so bad, and we got it, and then it was cancelled... Were we pissed, furious, anyone there can attest to that, but you roll with the punches, and play the hand your dealt the best you can. We had family, friends and you badass motherfuckers there... and even though we only got 30 minutes, it was a day we will never forget and achieved something special for ourselves...

Fun facts:
1) We came up with the idea of having Bobby come while drunk on our way to a show in Sacramento and emailed our manager to make it happen, and he did....
2) We took the subway to EZOO and crossed the 103rd bridge
3) Drew screamed Boobies in the middle of the set and fuck her right in the pussy on his mic during the end of danny avila's set
4) We went and had a family pizza after the set, and felt good about life

Note about the Song: We actually first heard the song via Monsieur Adi’s Remix and thought it was awesome but were curious to hear the original, so we checked it out and loved Say Lou Lou's original but thought there was still room for a really upbeat version with our progressive indie flare (we hate the word flare). What really appealed to us about Say Lou Lou was they have this renegade softness, its sorta punk but not, that makes no sense right, but there is sort of care-free beautiful nature to there voices and we thought we could make a summer anthem with this baby, or die trying (side note: at no point were we close to death in the making of this remix) So we got the stems, and wanted to create something that really screams 'let me in I want to fucking dance, but I also brought my own beer.' So when their ppl reached out to us about doing a remix it was the easiest decision ever. We can't say it wasn't a challenge though with such a strong vocal, but we really wanted to pin it up against the classic 'house music pluck' we have been hearing so much of, but use it in a vain that felt a bit different but still large, but finding that union was tough in the sense the two had to warm up to each other rather than clash... but in the end we think we found this great atmosphere for the song to exist."
