This is a "Fat Mic" technique that I learned from The Recording Revolution (link at bottom) So I had a condenser mic just sitting around so I decided to try it and to be honest it doesn't sound too bad but the snare is very loud to everything else. But it is a sound that you add little bit extra into the mic so its not there but it is.

Felt like recording something today so I did! Playing isn't the best as I was coming up with it on the spot and it's all one take. Was quite fun to just play and then listen back to what I have learnt over the past couple of years since recording last. Mic list below, Enjoy
