Pepperoni Lovers

The album that started it all. Home Schooled (2002) is the first solo album from Scotty Boombox, an instrumental, lo-fi sampled chest of sci-movies, answering machine massages, and big beats. "Scotty Boombox has created an electronic schizophrenia featuring interlocking grooves and calculated intelligence. All the tracks have a distinct mathematical precision highlighted by catchy hooks that feature orchestral strings, bassoons, and even Pac Man interpretations. Each track melts in to the next with inspirational fluidity and Scotty's signature humor. While there are no actual lyrics, he intersplices his grooves with utterances from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (Under Grace), old time movies, explosions, and answering machine messages (J.Rhodes lays down stupidity on 'Hair Piece' and 'Big Shirley' - he is also on a few other tracks along with superstars Chris Boggs ('Introduction'), Kip Lourens ('If I were paranoid'), and a slew of other eclectic guests). Home Schooled

In 2015, Scotty Boombox released his first solo album in a decade, "A Mime & A Thief". A departure from his past work that incorporated heavy usage of sampled audio and music, this album is an all-original composition featuring Scotty Boombox on vocals, drums, piano, synthesizer, turntable and guitar.  Featured artists on "A Mime & A Thief" include Elliott Bonnie on bass, Casey Cook on lead guitar, David Ramey on mandolin and bass, Juan Huevos on vocals, and the spoken word of D.A. Yew.
