This track was the result of revisiting memories, positive affirmations, and having the right amount of free time. Its message is to remember the good times, and more importantly the times in which you went through a difficult or confusing period of your life. We all have them, people.

Here's a little glimpse into my life history and my brain. The vocals were recorded on an AT2020 USB Mic using Audacity, and the beat was thrown together in FL Studio. Peace n Love

During high school I thought I was smart
played guitar for the ladies; they thought it was art
but really I was only doing covers of romance
to get em to slow dance and offer their hearts!
Looking back, I was kind of irresponsible
had a couple on the hook and acted like the pond was full...
breaking hearts wasn't really my aim -
in relationships I went just as quick as I came.
Then I graduated and I went off to college,
met a girl, broke up, started searching for knowledge.
Looking deep within myself and started hurtin my eyelids
I knew I had to fix the type of life that I lived
Right around then's when I truly decided
to invest a little time into music and try it - 
not as a way of bringin women around, but
as a way to develop my sound (like this)

your mind's opening UP.
