The second movement of Act II in the ballet is based on a very brief encounter, but one I always liked.

Act II ~ Waltz Of The Desert Flower

The introduction to the "Taming The Fox" movement of my ballet based on The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The prince is represented by the horn and the fox by the bassoon. The rest of the movement is also shaping up to be a lot of fun! Those of you familiar with the other work I've done in this ballet will recognize the theme of "Puisque C'est Ma Rose"
