Big Band Jazz Compositions

I haven't yet managed to get a recording with real instruments, but here's my big band arrangement of "It Was A Very Good Year" in Finale synth mode.

I wrote a tune based on Kneebody's "music cue" system (i.e. ripped the idea off) and we had Kneebody's own Ben Wendel play it with us! It was a lot of fun.

I wrote this piece for my good friend Betty Stephens, an essential advocate for jazz in our community. I wrote it to sound like an old school swing chart without being a 100% ripoff of Duke or them.
