The sensational production duo Barzek (Australia) & Jethimself (USA) have already contributed two melodic and soulful releases to our imprint this past summer: "Erhu" and "Everest / Genesis". Their third offering, "Holiday", features the stunning vocals of Victoria Ray, who lent her talents to "Free Like A Bird", one of the standout tracks from Blood Groove & Kikis' "Wonderland" artist album.

A resonant bassline, dancing arpeggio, and "vintage" melodic progressive chord progression highlight the first quarter of the arrangement. We are soon met by Victoria Ray's delicate opening verse, which leads the listener into the main break. Victoria beautifully delivers the chorus (and titular hook), accompanied by an equally gorgeous piano instrumental. Her inspirational lyrics are soon followed by an anthemic chord progression, culminating in a more club-oriented groove in the drop. For fans who prefer a vocal-less interpretation, this release also comes equipped with a "Dub Mix".

With winter in full swing in many places around the world, we felt it was a perfect time to unveil our newest compilations series, Arctic Selections 001.

Being a predominantly progressive imprint here at Shores, we also enjoy showcasing some deeper licks in the progressive genre, as well as some outings in the Downtempo, DnB, House and Tropical genres for good measure. So when the idea arose to do a compilation that highlights the more deeper, chill, liquid and tropical sides of music, we decided to put the call out to some artists we knew who had a knack for delivering quality musical ventures in these genres. After a few months of compiling our selections, we feel we have attained a truly standout collection that will surely strike an interested chord within many who follow the Shores imprint. That being said, we are truly pleased to welcome back for this new compilation Emergent Music Veterans Mizar B, Haroun Chebbi, Stan Seba, Rick Siron, Shwin and Markus Hakala, as well as welcome some label newcomers including Sodahl, Artificial Minds, Scotty Sunday, Vince Forwards and Karon & Purple.

With such a varietal platter of musical goodness to choose from, we are pleased to present you all with the truly divergent new 'Arctic Selections 001'.

The Houseum Records family is proud to announce that it continues to grow with this new Various Artists EP. To fly to new horizons, Astro, Sunfleur, Harisson BDP and Aemone gathered a collection of 4 tracks with deep and dubby sounds.

Ready for a power takeoff with Astro? From the beginning, this track sends us to another planet with the bassline. And the hypnotic beats certainly make a spacey banger! Sunfleur embarks you in the ship Vostok 1, for a cosmic ballad mixed with sweet and nostalgic lines of synths. This very smooth groove and these robotic vocals make us float.

On the B side, Harrison BDP gives us a darker track. The gravity leads us to a real fusion of reverberating drum lines and entrancing pads, It feels like entering a black hole. Finally the trip ends on a smooth landing with Clouds produced by the Belgian Aemone, we want to land on the clouds with this fluffy rhythm and these captivating vocals.

Scotty Sunday is a producer living in the cosy town of Adelaide.

Mainly focusing his attention on producing quality melodic progressive house; Scotty has managed to rack up an impressive cast of support since his first release from the likes of Shipstad and Warren, David Vendetta, Sabrina Terrence and many other world class DJs.

He focuses on delivering a unique approach to a genre that he has always come back to, after dabbling in other styles. Interesting and exploratory percussion with thick, shredding basslines ground the tracks for an always highly
euphonious combination of pads and main leads. 

His tunes have featured on some of the most popular international clubcasts and radio shows, such as Heaven's Gate by Neil Moore, Woody Allen and Alex M.O.R.P.H, Global Trance on Fresh FM, Innerbeing by James Corbett andhas been featured in a compilation by UDR of the top progressive tunes of the year.
