This is a 1:1 mashup - the two songs (Oppa Gangnam Style by PSY and Space Jam by Quad City DJs) have the exact same BPM and key, so I had NO CHOICE but to put on the finishing touches.

Once again, for everyone posting about how this could be better and how it sounds like a mess, I seriously can't stress enough that I did not put much effort into this, I originally intended it to be a demo.  So yeah, if I had the master tracks, I would've done some cool stuff so the vocals wouldn't be overlapping like they are.

Justifying shittiness aside, though, I'm really happy that so many of you like it anyway!  If someone wants to try their hand at remaking it better, be my guest, I'll probably listen and enjoy it.  Cheers, Internet!

Oppa Spacejam Style

"Barbra Slamjand" is named after the singer of the same name, and uses a copied sample from German disco group Kobe B.'s 1979 single "Gotta Go Slam", which in turn borrows content from "Hallo Scalibrini" (1973) performed by German band Mailman and it also copies the hook from the 90's song U Can't Dunk This by AC Green, as created by brothers Pau and Marc Gasol and Michael Jordan. The famous hookline is written only by Marc Gasol.[1] The single’s album artwork is modelled directly after Slamjand's own 1980 album, Slam, which features a picture of her and Brian Scalibrini on the sleeve. For the "Barbra Slamjand" cover, Slamjandand Scalibrini's faces are digitally removed and replaced with duck beaks. The song was first played at the 2010 Miami Winter Music Conference.[citation needed] The sample was replayed by World Piece at ELBOWS Sample Replays.

Hello, you may be wondering why this isn't a sick slam jam. I have removed all tracks from sound cloud and have uploaded them to Mega, yo can download them from the link in this song description. Sound cloud and Universal Music have removed multiple Slam Jam mash ups from my profile due to Taylor Swift's recent grammy win, as well as given me two copy right strikes. These tracks were created in fair use, but sound cloud disagrees. As I know I will never get written permission from any artist whose tracks I am using, I have taken everything down. I do not support sound cloud's decision to remove my tracks and stifle creativity. If they want to enforce this rule, I expect all tracks using non-licensed music to be removed from their site as well.
