Once again, I have no idea what genre this is - especially with that waltz section.

Âme Damnée

Orchestral piece with strings, piano, and a little music box twinkling at the top. This piece has given me a lot of comfort. 
Fun fact: I took this photo during fieldwork/research this past summer.

Sugar Sweet

I tried to come up with some reason why I decided to combine a shamisen with generic Panthera spp. growls other than "I thought it sounded neat." Why did my brain link these two sounds together? There must be a reason. 
There is none. 
We also don't really know what Smilodon spp. sounded like (as far as I know and at the time of writing this) AND it's on a separate taxonomic branch to the Panthera genus so there's no justification for using it as the art for this track, either. 
Sometimes you just mash a bunch of unrelated things together because it looks or sounds cool and that's okay. 
Also, I wanted to make sure I obtained the growl sounds ethically so I just recorded myself rolling my tongue then screwed with the pitch and timing.

Man-Eater

We follow a girl who, driven by insecurity regarding her girlfriend, becomes obsessed with attention. She doesn't only lose her girlfriend along the way, but herself as well. 
Maybe it's not always so bad being single on Valentine's Day, after all.

This was seriously a blast to make. I had an amazing time recording the lyrics for the second half of the song (despite being cramped between boxes in my closet), I feel like my sound design did the storyline justice, and I'm proud of the art as well!
