Theme of Fletch

Sort of a WIP. I want to fix some transitions and do some more mixing. I really, really like what I have so far, though and it's basically where I want it to be.

I've been sitting on this one a while, meaning to expand on the arrangement but I'm never going to get around to it at this point. Art is never really finished, you just stop working on it. And I think I like the current arrangement anyway

Very simplistic piece as it's based more around its texture and "atmosphere" than melody and harmony. Just trying to get across that hard describe feeling when you know the moment you're in will be nostalgic one day.

So I've been real nervous about uploading this because it's the first time I've really sung in years and I know there are faults. But it's a bedroom demo recorded in the scant hours I have to be loud and, honestly, I really like the song, even if it is simple and the lyrics are too blunt. I do even like my performance, I know it's not perfect but it's me, you can tell it's a real singer shouting at his walls about his feelings.

I'd really like to do this kinda thing in a band and I'll probably upload some more of my demos soon and start looking for people.

I Am Alive

Rough 'n' raw demo. First bit of extreme metal I've written in a long time. Sonically, I wanted a kind of raw early-Swedeath-on-cassette kind of sound. Very dense, very noisy. 

I kinda wanted to write something that went back to this atmosphere of dark mysticism a lot of older extreme metal had without just going and writing old-school death or black metal straight up. I dunno.
