playing foot-down round the old town you can cop a pedal to the shin, a bruise and blood-stained shoes to show for it. but it dont matter when every scar tells a story, some of pain and some of glory, carefree adolescent immaturity. no fuckhead bouncers hesitate to boot you out for no reason, with a complimentary half nelson. but the Banjo and the Lj change their tune when the season ends and the locals out number the winter dregs. tyrolian cliffs to the clay pits, dam wall, curiosity. sometimes a high rock and some friends are all you need. and after winter we could ride that snowy river to the sea. i know we'll take that trip someday.
