Up next for the DUDJ Mix Series is David, who presents us with an hour-long peek into his melodramatic world that can readily serve as an audio accompaniment to his own art, which explores themes of histrionic sexuality. This mix ties up experimental club excursions and muscular techno cuts with a queer bow, with plenty of unexpectedly beguiling interludes of noise sprinkled throughout. A landmark addition to our ever-growing series!

Here are some words from David:

'The majority of tracks on this mix are from what I was listening to in May and June this year after foraging through soundcloud for artists that kept me interested. Primarily I was looking for techno/experimental by queer artists. Some of my favourites are featured like Ariel Zetina, LOFT, Odete and boygirl to name a few (give them a listen if you haven’t already!) 
To use a series of adjectives, it’s a chaotic, melancholic, melodramatic, playful and, at many points, HAUNTING arrangement of sounds that hopefully makes for a stimulating/over-stimulating listen. xxx'

Timedance also welcomes techno royalty Peter Van Hoesen with one of his most broken tracks to date, plus new appearances from Patina Echoes contributors Via Maris, Cleyra and Nico.

The compilation showcases Timedance's evolution from 'Bristol techno' to a more global conscious sound, incorporating energies from different scenes and synthesising them into new modern forms.
