I remember the morning dew
the awe and rapture

the icicles melted

opened the door

a captivating melody was

on a rainy day

the voice of splendor had 
quietened too soon
I remember the empty roost
the genie of craving
spread its wings and loosed

sweet warblings
they were feathers stroking

From springs to autumns I watch the trees

among the chickadees
