NWSC017 is brought to us by newcomer to the label, Kyoshe, featuring three dark, murky, and enigmatic tracks to kick off our first venture of 2024. 

The first track Skinamarink, leads with what sounds like disembodied voices whispering sweet evil nothings into our ear, coupled with ripping and rolling basslines, and exotic strings. Next up is Masks Off, giving an unearthly, almost science fiction vibe, has dark, robotic, twisted basses and a very catchy melody. Wrapping it up properly is Idle Hands, a sludgy, pumping track with a heavy low end and head-nodding, alternating stabs that piece together a truly frightening soundscape.

This week we have the sound selekta soundkissed bringing her super vibey dnb flavor to Headstash. This one is on repeat!!!

Having lived in many different parts of the country, soundkissed brings a wide variety of musical selections ranging from dubstep, dance/house, hip-hop, and anything in between. Currently located in Denver, she has been popping up at several local venues and breweries (The Black Box, Cervantes, Your Moms House, Alternation Brewing, etc.) Though soundkissed is fairly new to the industry, her love of music started very early as a child. She grew up taking dance and choir classes thus solidifying the beginning of what would become quite the journey. Some of her biggest inspirations include: Flume, CloZee, Amy Winehouse, Kendrick Lamar, and Pink Floyd.

Widescreen and weighty dubstep rollige from Kaiju on their 2nd 12" for Kryptic Minds Osiris imprint. 'Silverfish' stretches out with dynamic, spacious halfstep engineering across the A-side, conducting coiled, darting drums and deadly low end lurches within an IMAX-sized sound sphere. Flipside 'Lone Wolf' displays similar hi-end production values, this time with more emphasis on the air carving drum and bass syncopation.
