The acclaimed duo known simply as Shades (Alix Perez and Eprom) are proud to share their newest single in “Dark Wing,” set to drop on June 3rd. This is the first single off of their upcoming album, From a Vein— slated for a late-summer release on Perez’s acclaimed 1985 Music imprint. The forthcoming 14-track LP marks the pair’s first full-length album since In Praise Of Darkness, released on Deadbeats in 2018.

Yoko just recently made her Odyzey Music debut with the release of “Serve It Like” on Odyzey’s latest compilation Muzique, Vol. 3. Now the talented artist puts her production abilities on full display via her 4-track EP, The Masquerade. The project kicks off with the lead single “The Day We Made The Earth Stand Still” on September 22, with the full project out on September 29. The captivating melodies and undeniable sound design are a highlight throughout the bass-laden project. 

Yoko, also known as Emi Veliz, strives to recreate the realms that exist in her own mind, and mold them into sonic experiences. Although originally from Tacoma, Washington, the esteemed producer has sculpted her sound from the influences of the Colorado underground scene. The focus of the Denver based Yoko project is to deliver heavy bass with inspiration from areas such as vintage sci-fi and classical cinema.

Blistering on to the scene with a debut release like no other comes Combine, with five searing hot slices of bass-fuelled badness on his debut DDD EP. 

Mixing classic rave sonics with savage synths and sub pressure, Doorgunner Megamix epitomises everything that’s exciting about the 140 dubstep genre.

Lead single Modelo Time has been doing serious damage in the dance with Skream, Moody Good, Zeds Dead and DDD bosses Truth all shelling it, as well as being featured in UKF’s recent dubstep mix.

When asked about the release Combine’s response “my intention was to make bangers” sums things up perfectly.
