December 2013: Screaming Claws Weekly Releases

For this week's Screaming Claws session, prolific Austrian sound artist https://soundcloud.com/kanoi (Benjamin Kantschieder) spins a web of chiming guitar loops that solidify into thick swathes of the stereo spread. His lead phrases sound out over the ambient foundation, while bursts of processed voice and burgeoning noise textures build the session up into a new intensity. As Benjamin lets his loops decay into static oblivion, peals of feedback-drenched guitar burst through the haze, calling the listener back even as the session fades to an end.
