The Scribble Sound System was formed in February 2009, when Scribble Records DJ's Tom Beary and G. Frequency joined forces with MC Little Tree and session musician Chucky to create Dublin's freshest collective. On stage, Dancehall, Reggae, Dubstep, Soulful beats and G. Frequency's original hip-hop productions are used as a solid foundation and then mixed with live scratching, effects, vocals and percussion. The ever elusive Moschops and "he only comes out at night" Fox joined the Sound System as full members in twenty ten.

In the studio the Scribble Sound System have used their collective energy & inspirations to give birth to their first record 'The Scribble Sound System ep, which drops on limited vinyl release and digital in April 2012

Late in 2011, Kormac arrived on seminal author Irvine Welsh’s Edinburgh doorstep with the track he had written for him. Generously, Mr Welsh took him in, fed and watered him and sent him home with Another Screen. The track shows what’s to come from Kormac’s new direction. Sadly Irvine Welsh’s delicious cake is not included.

The Superhero EP goes on worldwide release on Scribble Records / Bodytonic Music in May 2012.

Scribble Records was the brainchild of Trevor O'Shea and begin 2007, a small Dublin based label as part of the Bodytonic Music collective. Scribble also host a weekly Friday night in The Bernard Shaw in Dublin. Previous guests at Scribble gigs have included Simbad, Mr Scruff, DJ Yoda, DJ Craze, Greg Wilson, Zed Bias, Rahaan, Dam Funk &amp; more. The aim of the label is to release quality music that reflects the sound of the weekly night - anything from reggae, funk, soul, hip hop &amp; the rest. In 2010, Scribble Records, will build on the previous ten successful releases with single &amp; album releases from label artists Kormac, Yolazy, Scribble Soundsystem.
