Ravager first featured on the podcast back in December 2011, his mix back then was met with critical acclaim from the listeners, and has been one of the most downloaded to date. BIO:

Komatic is a Bedford based producer, originally from the North East of England. Komatic first found drum and bass through listening to tape packs back in early 1992 / 1993.  It was from these packs that Komatic desperately wanted to DJ and be involved. This led to a residency at Raindance, wining the ‘breaking new talent competition’ at Helter Skelter and various pirate radio slots, not to mention being a runner up in a national student DJ competition to find the best student DJ in the country, held at the Ministry of Sound. After some hard saving for a computer, he hasn’t stopped making music since.

Over the last few years, things have started to progress.  The first was making it onto BBC 1xtra’s playlist with ‘Ring The Alarm’, Komatic’s first release.  Komatic continued to get support from 1xtra with DJ’s Chrissy Chris and Bailey all running tunes such as ‘Viscous’, ‘Night Drive’, ‘Solution’ and ‘Human Kinetic’.  Support from Nerm & DCode on Radio 1 has also followed, with his ‘Black and Gold remix’ becoming a permanent fixture on the shows.  ‘Viscous’ has since been signed to Spearhead, ‘Lucid’ and ‘Night Fell’ signed to Phunkfiction, ‘Jazz Club’ and ‘Remain Free’ to Frequency Factory and ‘Simple Complexities’ to Ennex Records.  This exposure also landed him a weekly radio show on Bassdrive.

Komatic has since been working with Technique’s ‘Technicolour’, and so far their styles of production and music have been a perfect compliment to each other.  The collaborations are going from strength to strength, and definitely tunes to look out for in the future.

BIO:

Edu Ventura a.k.a. Duoscience is a Brazilian sound producer from Sao Paulo, he had his first contact with music in infancy, through the music of the 50′s – 80′s, like R & B Soul, Wor, World Music,Funk,Gospel Music. And influenced by names like Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Billy Paul.

The Commodores, The Isley Brothers, Dionne Warwick, RobertaFlack among others, thus awakened a taste for good music. In 1997 he started his promising journey as a music producer, with reference to names like DJ Premier, 2Pac, Bone, Brian McKnight, Roni Size, Adam F DJ Hype, among others. Today, with numerous EPs released by major labels.. Duoscience has stood out for his musical versatility around the world. Having the support of DJs like Crissy Criss (BBC 1Xtra),Bass Drive Crew, Bryan Gee, Random Movement, Stunna, Jason Magin, Digital & Outrage, Utah Jazz, Bailey and many others.

BIO:

Peter Makkai, aka GIOCATOR was born in a small village in Hungary.  He was twelve when he first meet with electronic music; at this time he especially likes house and techno music. Couple years later, hardtechno causes his dissapointment in 4/4 music, and that's when drum and bass came into his life...  in 2005 Peter started to djing, and one year later he also started to producing electronic music; at first breakbeat, and then drum and bass tunes.  As a dj he played with names like Hydro, No Money, Delta Heavy, Diode, Jay Rome or big hungarian names like Jade, Spinline, Munk, Zero Method, or Incident.  As a producer his first little success was in 2009 when his first tunes were released. In may he was signed by Typecell's Protogen Records, where he made 3 singles and a remix release with Typecell.  Now he has more than 30 released tunes, and he's the owner / manager of Black Seeds Recordings.

Originally from England, but based in Perth, he has become the most significant contributor to drum'n'bass in all of Australia, which has ultimately led to the creation of his hugely successful label, Interphase. Greg Packer treats us to a mix that's rammed full of classics both new and old that hits the spot perfectly.

BIO:

Greg packer began dj-ing hip hop in the summer of 1989 whist still living in Northampton England. And soon afterwards emigrated to Australia where he immediately held the west-australian dmc title for 2 consecutive years. It was a natural progression into drum'n'bass as the music he immersed himself in evolved, which soon earn him high accolades such as ‘ best rave DJ 1994 , best mixing DJ 1995 , best drum & bass DJ 1996 and every year until 2007’ making a total of 11 years Best DnB Dj at the Perth PDMA’s. Greg has held numerous residencies and played hundreds of guest spots over the years and supported practically every drum & bass DJ that visits Perth.

In 1998 Greg decided to take things to the next level and invest in a studio and start to make his own music. After some encouragement from long time friend LTJ Bukem and releases on Good Looking, Tangent and others, Greg was well and truly on his way, in the following yeas that has grown to 121 releases for some of the most iconic labels within drum & bass.

Greg set up a record label in 2000, Interphase, and now has Interphase Digital which is focusing mainly on collaborating with ‘MC Assassin’ in recent times, with big tracks including "Sound Kriminal" and "Rep Ya Culture".

BIO:

Hailing from Brixton, the South London-based, classically trained producer, she has been interested in music from an extremely early age.  Dushi made her exciting DnB debut on Drumsound and Bassline Smith’s famous Technique Recordings, and has now just dropped her Gangsta Love EP on none other than legend, DJ SS’s Formation Records, one of the most respected labels in the DnB scene.

With inspirations ranging from Hip Hop and RnB to funk and Soul, as well as the classical music she first learnt to play, it’s no surprise that Dushi’s work is known for its soulful melodic nature. Fascinated by the way a computer can take the place of the whole orchestra; Dushi’s music is also the result of many different inspirations and instruments, resulting in a unique original sound.

This unique synergy of different styles is one of the reasons the London based producer has already taken the scene by storm, with her releases getting played on renowned radio shows such as Dj Hype on Kiss 100, Fabio & Grooverider on BBC Radio 1, Sacha Brooks on Capital, Crissy Criss and Bailey on BBC Radio 1Xtra, London Elektricity and many more.
