THE VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT studies are cancelled after no success following years of experimentation. THE FALL is the gate of communication & Travel between the past, present, and future. One scientist decides it’s best to use the RIFT to travel back in the flesh rather than relying on the AI TRIALS. After entering the RIFT, all systems go haywire and they are stuck in the past with no way back to their reality, the SIGNAL is lost. A lot of the time we feel stuck with no way back, no way to get out of what is keeping us down. But there is always a way to get out, you just have to push as hard as you can and one day it’ll happen. 

After spending years in the RIFT PAST, the scientist knows what happens next. They have experimented on this exact date. The end of humanity as they know it is upon them. The bright skylines begin to crumble into the darkness and all life seems to crumble away. DAY I DIE is the anthem of never giving up even if it all seems hopeless, dark, and alone. Because there is always someone or something that’s worth fighting for.
