Floors Records is set to release a new vinyl project titled ‘Trinity Various’ at the end of May. The release will bring together an original track composed by a member of the Floors Records collective, a rework by Gin Tonic Orchestra, and a remix by an international DJ. This project is the first of a series of recurring releases by Floors Records that will follow the same format.

The French producer Kaffe Crème, known for the highly sought-Kaffe Crème EP in 2016, has contributed an original track to the project called ‘Nuits Sonores’. The track pays homage to the festival of the same name in Lyon, France, in a classic old-school House style.

In addition, Chicago legend Ron Trent, widely considered one of the most talented and accomplished deep house producers of all time, has remixed the Gin Tonic Orchestra’s rework, adding his own unique touch as the Godfather of the genre.

Marco Lazovic shows his jazzy electro side with this new outing on Scruniversal. It's a sixth EP from this label and another one you need to cop. The A-side tune is 'Amour Translanatique' and is one doused in romantic pad work, reverential moods and gentle drums that soothe the mind, body and soul. 'Uslada' is more upbeat but no less deft and silky. This one has lush cosmic chords and wispy melodies peeling off the busy beats which have a whiff of liquid jungle goodness to them. Two high-class cuts for tender dancefloors.

Eduardo's "Forest" EP, releasing on the 24th of January 2025 via Apparel Music, is a meticulously crafted journey into the dense and fertile soundscape of House music. With three tracks that weave together melodies and atmospheres like branches in a sonic woodland, Forest is an epitome of Eduardo's unique and personal vision of the genre - a true ode to exploration and organic sound design. As the title suggests, Forest feels alive, brimming with textures that twist and grow unpredictably yet harmoniously. Each track unfolds like a walk through unexplored terrain, with melodies acting as a canopy and spacey, immersive sounds as the undergrowth. Eduardo draws you deeper into this wild, sonic ecosystem where every element has its own role, much like the subtle sounds of nature, yet when intertwined, they create a singular, vibrant landscape. As the titular track, "Forest" sets the tone for the entire release. It's a deep, evolving soundscape that echoes the unpredictability and mystery of nature. Here, Eduardo intertwines organic percussion with spacey synths, creating a textured sonic environment where every note feels like a step deeper into the heart of the forest. "Lighting" a the spark. With its quicker tempo and electric energy, this track is a burst of dynamism in the EP. Sharp, syncopated beats are layered with shimmering synths that crackle and pulse, mirroring the erratic yet beautiful nature of lightning itself. "Llaqta", named after the Quechua word for "village" or "community" brings a sense of groundedness and connection to the EP. It's a nod to Eduardo's roots, blending tribal rhythms and deep house grooves with a strong sense of place. There's a warmth and humanity in this track, with its layered percussion and subtle melodies that ebb and flow like life in a vibrant community. Each of these tracks represents a different facet of Eduardo's artistry, but together, they create a richly textured EP that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. The EP combines Eduardo's profound understanding of the genre with an experimental edge, offering a blend of the familiar and the unfamiliar. The soundscapes here are bold yet nuanced, echoing with the rhythmic heartbeat of deep roots while fluttering into the higher realms of organic melodies and synth-driven atmospheres.

Bicoastal disco aficionado, Super Elevation label/shop owner, and all-around legend of the scene, Tom Noble brings forth a sprawling project 15 years in the making with his House of Spirits full length LP on Razor-N-Tape.

Slow-cooked over more than a decade, the eight tracks that stretch across this double 12” pack are the realization of Tom’s unique vision of modern dancefloor soul, with lush live instrumentation and deviously catchy hooks. Boasting a near encyclopedic knowledge of decades of club music, Tom draws on influences like Patrick Adams & the Mizell Brothers to build a sound that’s both reverent to the past, but feels extremely fresh and immediately timeless.

The lead off singles ‘Times Are Changing’ and ‘Please Take Me There’ and respective remixes by Harvey Sutherland, Makez and Sizmo have already garnered huge support, and ‘Holding On’ the beloved original House Of Spirits single from 2020 appears with a shiny new mix. The album opens with ‘Love Trip,’ an uptempo invitation to the sonic world to follow, and moves through various moods, like the Brit-funk vibe of ‘Time Is Running Out,’ the mid-tempo groover ‘I Get Lifted’ and the downtempo R&B smoothness of ‘Diamond Eyes’ featuring dreamcastmoe on vocals.

The cheeky dollar bin artwork rounds out this package perfectly, and with the tracks mixed to perfection and cut tough for the floor, this is an essential record that will surely find a permanent home in the bag.

First release of 2025 is The Coin EP Vol.3. Marcello Cassanelli is back on Ten Lovers Music with two stunning tracks and a beautiful outro solo on his Rhodes. Starlight kicks off side A with some superb Italian Disco for 2025, following that a trip to Cuba for Tropical Breeze on which Marcello employs long time collaborators and super talented Giulia Barozzi on vocals and Antonio Rapa on drums. Across both tracks Marcello plays the keys, bass, flute, guitar and drum programming. Rounding off side A is Dream Horizon an improvised one minute beatless outro jam on the Rhodes.

	On the AA side we have a new project from Caruso and Helen McCormack. First up is Have and Hold which harks back to the Manchester Street Soul scene of the late 80’s. Very simply constructed with electronic drums, bass, piano and a lead synth on top of which Helen’s vocal sits perfectly. Second on side AA is Love You More, a very atmostpheric track written by Helen with the strings arranged by Cormac Fulton. The percussion is from fellow TLM artist Takashi Nakazato (Kyoto Jazz Massive/Jazztronik). Both tracks were produced by Steve Conry who also assisted Jose Rico on the mixes. Finally to finish on side AA is Central, a beautiful Deep House instrumental using only real analogue synths like the Solina String Ensemble, ARP Odyssey and Oberheim Xpander, mixed by Steve Conry and Matt Cox.

Sailing forward to present times: The Cap' now hoist sails to more international gigs while still lovingly releasing some of his nautical Cap' Edits to the world.

Cellar Sessions Vol 26: Captain' Ahoy

Scruscru dives into "the modern Yerevan bubble of music" with a new various artists outing that takes a look at the Armenian take on jazz, hip hop and house. It's utterly refreshing right off the bat with Vahagn M & Ycrow layering up jazzy keys with nice contemporary deep house swing, UNDO takes things into a vibey live jazz lounge and Your Friend Daao lays down shuffling and broken drum patterns that are effervescent with Neo-soul and nu-jazz energy. Elsewhere, Yerevan Calling's 'Next Step' brings stuttering jazz swagger and Shhau & Mesrop sink into a deep and soulful late-night sound on 'Andset'. There is a great deal of musical charm and originality to all of these fresh fusions, which makes this is vital LP.

LTF began as a 90s b-boy who was raised on funk and hip-hop before he even knew the names of the music he was hearing. Under the influence of early greats like DJ Shadow, Beat Junkies and Cut Chemist, he dove into turntablism and spun breaks across Siberia while digging for records. Once he discovered the sampler, his world shifted to loops, chops, basslines and scratches. His debut project Dapdown earned local buzz and global connections, including France's Black Milk Music crew, and a decade ago, while armed with Soviet synths, double bass, and dusty vinyl, he dropped his first solo album, Light The Fuse. It's truly raw, expressive, beat-lover's soul with a heavy groove that has been remastered for this reissue via Tunes Delivery.

Russian hip-hop producer Boora steps up with 'Dedicado Ao Rei/Party Groove', a new Scruniversal 7" with dusty sample chops and an analogue grit. Drawing on Soviet-era sounds and classic gear like the SP-1200 and MPC, Boora crafts tight boom-bap rhythms with a deft touch. 'Dedicado Ao Rei' radiates warmth, layering rolling breaks with subtle Latin inflections, while 'Party Groove' flips playful James Brown ad-libs over punchy chord stabs. This release distills Boora's love for sample-driven hip-hop into two tracks equal parts nostalgic and fresh, highlighting his knack for blending rhythmic precision with lo-fi character.

Summer might be over in a literal sense, but there is no finer way to keep its vibes alive than with another scorching drop from Scruniversal, especially when it is focused on Brazilian sounds. This latest comes from a trip of talents and first up is 'Inspetores De Umidade,' a lithe and funky break that rolls on fat drums with organic percussion and Portuguese raps turning up the sunshine. On the flipside is 'Acido Brasil', another ass-wiggling delight with big horns, wiggly 303 details and a funk to spare. Pure heat on a very tasty 7".
