cleaning the slate. these are a collection of tracks I made over the last 2 years, some finished, some unfinished, that will serve as a symbolic reference point to a new "era" of my music and whatever it is i've been doing online with this stuff for the last 10 years.

I will be back eventually with what I would hope would be my first "proper" album, whatever that means. when it will be, I don't know. maybe it'll eventually exist or maybe i'll just keep uploading whatever shit i make and calling it an album, end of the day its all music. for now, feel free to enjoy the 500+ tracks I've uploaded over the last 10 years. This is a track I've avoided putting up as it's a tad personal.  Never recorded until I just sat down and "fiddle-farted" it down to the iPhone.  I always loved the Beatles track "I Want You".  Ironically, this played ad nauseam when my dad passed away in 1989.  I sat down and I played this until my fingers bled just to get the reality of his passing out of my mind.  Starting slow until I sped up until I was broken.  Never got it perfect as I was never a live player.  But...what the hell.  Sat down and found a cathedral patch to give it some ambience and gave it a spin cold after all these years and this is the outcome.  Take one had too many flubs and this was take two in all its...."glory"....heh.  Enjoy!

Volt5000 (@volt5000) and I are glad to present our collaborative version of his recent track "Disturbed Planet". It will be the 1st track in our single in progress under the title "Disturbed Planet", which we intend to complete soon during the year that just started, 2021. We hope you'll enjoy this longer, more varied, version of ours too!

The artwork cover, that will also be used for our single in progress and its constituent tracks, is based on a photo taken by Alex M on 8 August 2020 and then cropped and annotated by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 10 January 2021.

Created in collaboration on 5 January 2021 (initial mix and recording in MAGIX by Volt5000) and 9 January 2021 (final mix and recording in Logic Pro X by Alex M), and posted on SC on 10 January 2021 (by Alex M).
