These are all remixes done by middle school students at Sherwood Charter School in Sherwood, OR.  All remixes started as MIDI files, then were uploaded to and sequenced with Soundtrap.

SCS 2021 Trimester 2

This playlist features the completed remixes of 3 of our middle school Music Tech/Comp students.  These remixes were the result of a balancing/EQ project using the Soundtrap DAW.

All students were given the same VERY unbalanced MIDI of Coldplay's White Shadows (two verses and a chorus), and issued the challenge of balancing out the entire work.  The students were shown a variety of ways to balance out the MIDI, whether it be just playing with the track volumes or entirely overhauling the MIDI as a whole by changing synths, removing tracks, and playing with various effects panels that Soundtrap provides.
