LANDSIDE 

Landside is the  debut collaboration between Italian producers Hunter/Game and the Icelandic band Kúra.
The sound draws as much from the deep vibe and  melancholy ambience of Kúraʼs  reflective, dubby moods, as the more insistent groove of Hunter/Game's dancefloor roots.
Fanney Osk 's vocals  are like clear warm breath in a cold mountain breeze.  
Vibrating  waves are set against synths and melodic leads that break the languid feel like the arrival of an intense storm.

In this first remix EP, two wildly different producers offer up their own original takes.   
Max Cooper's remix is as gorgeous and melodic as always, setting Fanney's vocals floating over a sea of warm synth work and surprisingly driving percussion.  Benjamin  Damage, meanwhile, fires hard into the dancefloor, digging  a channel of tough grooves  within the ambient melodies and mellow vocals.

As we continue Soma’s 25 year anniversary, it’s only fitting label heads Slam receive the remix treatment next. The duo have selected 4 of their favourite acts who have given some Slam classics the modern day rework. 

Polegroup’s Oscar Mulero, a true veteran of the techno scene, turns in a suitably whipping remix of the monstrous Stepback. Creating a percussive storm, abating only to unleash those well known vocals. French maestro Antigone turns his hands to Slam’s career defining Positive Education, delving into more funk based territory whilst retaining his unique production style. Eterna, taken from SOMA001 back in 1991 is up next receiving two very individual reworks. Firstly, a drum jack from Inland utilises the originals beautiful pads to great effect and Soma artist Petrichor delivers a more organic, deep affair.

German producer Losoul returns to the album format for the first time in ten years with his 'Island Time' LP showcasing the diverse scope of his sound in seven tracks.

Known for his stripped back, organic and emotive house music, on the forthcoming album Losoul doesn't disappoint as he delivers a collection of warm, jazzy and captivating ballads. 

Mixmag has locked in the premiere of a standout track off the album titled 'Square Down Smoother', a deep, steady and enveloping deep house cut primed for late night and early morning dancefloor excursions.

'Dreiklang welcomes Italian native Hydergine for their fourth record; continuing with the label’s trian- gular remit of three juxtaposing interpretations per vinyl-only release. The aqueous tones of Hydergine’s ‘Diving Alone (Tape 3db)’ uctuate hazily around one another, with dampened thumps and diluted synths uncovering a carefully crafted murky mystery. Japanese producer Iori provides the rst remix; upping the tempo and twisting the meditative textures with a sound honed through two years living in Berlin, not to mention a pivot towards immersive sci- ambience on 2016 album Cold Radiance. Iconic UK dub techno pioneer JS Zeiter takes the baton on the ipside, having released his Turning Point EP on Hydergine’s Ranges label in 2017. Known for his engrossing Basic Channel in uenced pro- ductions, Zeiter here dips dreamily above and below the waterline.'

Hotflush is a record label launched by Paul Rose aka Scuba in 2003. Its early period was spent as a central part of London's Bass Music scene which exploded in the mid 2000s, although the label has always been difficult to pigeonhole musically and recent output has focused on Techno and House.

Scuba is a maker of music from the UK. He is also the founder of a record label called Hotflush Recordings.
