We're immensely proud to welcome Kompakt staple GUI
BORATTO back to the SPEICHER fold, this time teaming
up with much-respected DJ and producer RENATO
RATIER - also the mastermind behind legendary
Brazilian club D-Edge and its eponymous label
distributed by Kompakt. With both artists not being the
ones to shackle themselves within genres, it is an
exhilarating sight to find them collaborating on these
two bangers: bringing all the sonic refinement we've
seen in his current work for his own imprint D.O.C. or
his 2014 album masterpiece ABAPORU (KOMPAKT 312
CD 115), Gui's presence to crackling, propulsive cuts
TESLA and DRIVER is unmistakenly felt, but focusses
on a much more muscular approach to dance music - a
perfect fit for Renato's expanded floor expertise, making
this 12" an absolute no-brainer for any club pundit
interested in bringing the sweat to the party.

dürfen, dieses Mal im Tandem mit dem hochrespektierten DJ
und Produzenten RENATO RATIER - der Drahtzieher hinter
dem legendären brasilianischen Club D-Edge nebst
gleichnamigem Label im Kompakt-Vertrieb. Beide Künstler
sind keine Freunde selbstverursachter Genre-
Abhängigkeiten, weshalb es eine umso spannendere
Angelegenheit ist, sie beim gemeinsamen Schrauben an
diesen zwei Schiebern vorzufinden: mit all der klanglichen
Raffinesse die wir in seinen jüngsten Arbeiten für sein
eigenes Label D.O.C. oder seinem 2014er Album-
Meisterstück ABAPORU (KOMPAKT 312 CD 115) erleben
durften, ist Guis Präsenz im knisternden Treiben von TESLA
und DRIVER unverkennbar, doch konzentriert er sich hier
auf eine sehr viel muskulösere Spielart der Tanzmusik - der
perfekte Kontext zu Renatos erweiterter Tanzflur-Expertise.
Macht diese 12" zum absoluten Muss für jeden Club-Kenner
mit Spass am Schweiss.
