Aspect form 1 - portals is a unraveling sonic journey telling of a story about a world named frostfoore controlled by synthesized drug taken through a process called “galantapathesis “ wherein individuals living in frostfoore will preform a mixture of transcendental meditation and moments of distressed condition and inturn absorb the drug through the light from the sky all for a chance to have boundless communion with one of the neoteric deity celests as they call them , but our protagonist (unnamed ) has had second thoughts about this process fueled by visions of a vast conspiracy perpetrated by not many neoteric deities , but one man posing as a deity controlling the populations of this world with a bogus and helplessly addictive drug that perhaps isn't a drug at all but future technology obtained by some means by the one and as our protagonist gazes at the multicolored star clusters hovering above the metal dullness and panful pinch of the temperature in Frostfoore he glimpses small visions of his future and the boundless PORTALS he is about to be hopelessly flung thru , all to save his best friend back in frostfoore everybody else is just a plus. Join our protagonist as he is pulled through illimitable sonic realities all to find the one who maliciously destroyed the minds of his , aspect form 1 PORTALS

💿 Lost Dubs 010 – ex per i mental (2008)

This track has been sitting on the shelf for years because it never really fit in anywhere. It has no melody, just rhythm and space. At the time I was deeply inspired by the drum programming of Sixteenarmed Jack and Krinjah — producers I respected not just for their skills, but as colleagues and friends. This was my nod to them.

Originally, this wasn’t even going to be part of my Lost Dubs series. LD010 was supposed to be a remix of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, but unlicensed vocals meant it couldn’t be released. That sent me back to the vaults, and one night after a long session out, I sat with this track again. I heard something in it that I had never noticed before — something I can’t quite explain. Talking about music is like singing about architecture, but it was there.

So here it is. ex per i mental. No melody, no polish, just an exploration of drums, patterns, and negative space.

I’m mostly sharing this here because I think people in this sub will dig it. Would love to hear what you think.
