Au-delà des vestes de survêtement et des samples de moteurs tuning d’un goût discutable, Scuffles défendent la volonté de réunir deux esthétiques rarement assemblées : le garage/punk et la techno. Si elle est avant tout pensée comme légère et festive, la musique du duo tend à emprunter un virage de plus en plus mélodique, désormais en français dans le texte, flirtant ainsi de plus en plus avec les univers cold wave. Sur des couleurs inspirées de Rendez-Vous, La Femme ou Vox Low à la rencontre d’Arnaud Rebotini, c’est court, simple, frontal et percutant, et toujours de vraies festivités sur scène comme sur des enceintes en after. À titre de garantie, un nouvel EP viendra confirmer toutes les promesses des premiers singles le 12 novembre 2021.
