Dimitar Grozev es un artista de origen búlgaro para quien la persistencia es un factor clave en su desarrollo. Forma parte del sello búlgaro “Hivemind”, cuya especialidad es el sonido hipnótico de vanguardia, y constantemente oscila entre composiciones puras y ásperas, con una gran cantidad de texturas, lo que hace que la historia que cuenta su música sea siempre diferente y moldeada por el momento presente.

Hasta el día de hoy, tiene numerosos lanzamientos en algunos de los mejores sellos discográficos, como SUBSIST, DOGMA, POSTDYNAMIC y KHOROS, y tiene lanzamientos regulares en su sello local HIVEMIND, en el que también se encuentra su último LP, “Synthesis 2.0”. Su producción se desarrolla en varios universos, hogar de especies alienígenas desconocidas, y se reproduce regularmente en numerosos lugares de todo el mundo por leyendas como DVS1, Rrose, HD Substance, Ben Sims y otros. El sonido que crea te transporta fácilmente a dimensiones con las que no todos estamos familiarizados, ¡sin embargo, es una visita obligada para cualquier fanático de la electrónica!

Hivemind unveils its next release with a 6-track EP in both digital and vinyl formats, going further into the hypnotic sci-fi techno territories!

The “sculptor.” EP explores the relationship "human - digital - analog" and is curated and delivered by the Bulgaria-based Dimitar Grozev.

The intro (digital only) conveniently sets the plot for the rest of the EP, which is aimed at both covering the needs of the club environment as well as going on introspective, self-guided sonic voyages the rest of the time.

The release also includes distinctive reinterpretations by none other than the Argentinian master of sci-fi techno - Translate, as well as the driving force behind the Hivemind sound - Martin Deno.

Coming from a small town in the southern part of Bulgaria and currently living in Sofia, Dimitar Grozev has been messing with noise and machines for a long time before the emerging of the "sculptor." persona during the summer of 2025, using it as a starting point for releasing raw, bleepy and metallic sounds with a future-facing approach.
Finding inspiration in the everyday life fragments as well as in every other form of art, he has released most of his works under the co-owned by him imprint Hivemind with the most recent being a debut vinyl release.
Similar to most of his works, this podcast is a descent into repetition as ritual, loaded with timeless and inexorable sounds sculpted into dissolving rhythmic patterns.
