Electronic pioneer, Christopher Just’s initial music came out in 1993 under his own name and various pseudonyms, like “DJ One finger” and “ilsa Gold”. The “Petra” project was originally released in 1996 showcasing the ferocious sound of 90’s analog hardware. Over 25 years later Dax J presents his colossal remix of the relativity unknown and now unearthed gem that went under the radar for so many years. Joe Farr and his label User Experience are pleased to welcome Jamie Curnock. Jamie has been immersed in techno for 20 years releasing both vinyl and digital releases on his own co-run record label, Onnset Recordings plus a string of remixes for labels such as Emetic & Obscuur records. Jamie has consistently demonstrated a style of techno that hits hard, focusing on heavy driving drums whilst showcasing his individuality to productions through
melodics and experimental soundscapes. Not one, not two but three remixers are stepping up for UX006. UX regular Ike Dusk delivers a dirty sleazy hammer, up and coming Irish boy wonder Daryl sends in
a razor sharp banger and Corroid brings a face melting slammer.

Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.

KUSP joins Rekids Special Projects with the rumbling ‘Freedom Of Fear EP’ this January.

The KUSP project, formed of two friends rekindling their love for electronic music, has seen the duo release on the likes of Suara, We Are The Brave, and Odd Recordings since 2018, picking up heavy support from the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick, Charlotte De Witte, Adam Beyer, and of course Radio Slave along the way.

Across ‘Freedom of Fear’, KUSP display their knack for crafting high intensity, uncompromising techno, perfectly fitting the criteria for the heavier Rekids sister label. From the evil-sounding ‘Circulus’ through to the grinding textures of ‘Xerox’, the duo never strays from the tried and test 4/4 across the five tracks, amassing a crushing array of dancefloor weaponry on a vital label breathing fresh ideas into the world of techno.
