For Cerrone's new EP "afro" to be released 12th february, LeonxLeon from our crew Les Yeux Orange was asked by his record company, Because Music, to do an official remix of this track, Funk Makossa, taking it's roots in Manu Dibango's classic track from 1972, "Soul Makossa". Our man LeonxLeon managed to keep the afro vibe while giving it a balearic house touch by twisting the bassline, to finally give it away and drop an acid line.
