We always find a common ground and I believe this is the reason that pushes us both to get out of our comfort zone and create something fresh every time we play together".

Welcome to the second episode of our bi-monthly Aaja residency. 
We’re kicking off this edition with an interview with Polish icon @dtekk1, followed by an ambient sonic curation by him, contrasting again his well known techno club sets. Zero is a DJ from Bogota who defines his style as dark, futuristic and psychedelic. He likes to move between various nuances of techno to lead an upward curve with several climaxes, minimalism and hypnotic sounds along with percussion and danceable rhythms are what define and identify him at the time of dancing and maintain energy in each ritual. .
"I did this set in representation of my sound and continent with representative exotic rhythms rising from 100bpm to 150bpm to explore your senses and feel a unique journey.."

For this first VA, we decided to focus on the meaning of our name “BLVSH”, which is for us the idea of blossoming, blooming, coming to life.

Half of the tracks are from our crew members, while the other half are from guests dear to us. Active members of the FLINTGA* scenes and communities in Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.

Before finally stepping behind the decks herself in 2020, @dj_boney_s already looked back on two decades of club culture experience. Passionately collecting vinyl from various different genres for years, she started out as a party organiser in her native Belgium. Her behind the scenes work continued after relocating to Germany where she was heavily involved in establishing the PARALLEL nights at Griessmühle as a fixture of Berlin nightlife. 

As a former booker and label head, DJ BONEY S developed her own unique taste that is first and foremost shaped by one timeless medium: VINYL. She draws from classic 90s sounds and queer techno, travelling to otherworldly electro or cold industrial beats. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes pouncing - but always trippy - her set invite you to close your eyes. 

DJ BONEY S is resident of @slime_berlin and Sousami Bar, @femalepressure member and publishes the @prallberlin podcast series. She is also one half of @dj-frottee and of @hhhhypnotist, both together with @zikade.
