•  Even though only two productions into her career Sea seems to be carving out a very distinctive sound. Her lush grooves come with a wonderful cadence and the emotion emanating from her vocals and music is very strong. 

As ‘Young Lovers Searching Stars’ begins there is a definite air of mystery; backed by a dark, brooding groove and ominous atmospheres there is a very sombre vibe happening early on. Sea’s vocals then slowly drift into the framework and have a profound spiritual presence. 

•  There’s a hopeful emotion that’s created here and the subtle gates add a sleek hypnotic roll which works wonderfully with the rough groove below. A second half of bell motifs and drifting harmonies makes for an enchanting conclusion and the remarkable thing is the dance floor sensibility stays high throughout, much more than you would expect for something so dreamy. 

Like all her past releases Sea has also included a dub which comes with the same mystery and intrigue of the original minus the vocal elements. A perfect alternative for the less vocally inclined. 

Another gorgeous production from Sea, looking forward to hearing what’s next from her.

There's no one like Sea with the deep 'Bajo De Las Estrellas', featuring the sensual vocal-infused Original Mix, shimmering Dub and sublime Beat Syndrome Remix.

The Romanian producer made her debut on the US imprint with the gorgeous ‘Cosmic Love’ which was released in September alongside remixes from Stas Drive and Verche. Not only was it Sea’s System Recordings debut but also her production debut in general; which is quite astounding given the quality of the track. Sea’s new single ‘Bajo de las Estrellas’ promises to be even better and includes a remix from Beat Syndrome.

The dreamy textures which were showcased on ‘Cosmic Love’ are fast becoming one of Sea’s most alluring production hallmarks. As ‘Bajo de las Estrellas’ begins you become entranced with its soft textures and floaty lines. 

Then the vocal elements (Sea herself) get dropped in and add an entirely new textural dimension to the piece. It’s all quite magical sounding and it’s one of the those tracks you’d love to listen to on repeat for hours and just dream the day away. For as wistful as that sounds though it still has a nice nose for the dance floor with a punchy groove and dulcet rhythms leading the way. 

Also included is a Dub version for the less vocally inclined. You can’t go wrong with either one and they stretch the boundaries of deep house and dreamy new school progressive quite well.

Gabriela alias SEA comes from Romania, one of the most exciting countries in Europe for electronic music.
Since a young age she has found her passion in music (she played piano and studied classes of composition and music’s theory), after she started djing early at 12 years old and from there it was not long until she found her way into the studio. There, her outstanding talent revealed: her productions were played by top artists like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed and Nick Warren in their sets. Her voice plays a particular role where she refined a large part of her sound.
SEA makes her debut in Switzerland at Club Schlaflos on April 22, 2016.  Her deep, emotional and seductive grooves instantly connected with the swiss crowd.

This set reflects a lot of me.

A sublime night at Generator Lights Of Gracia, where we celebrated the carnival in Barcelona. What I loved about this party was not just the painted faces with stars, the masks and beautiful costumes, but also that the people left their phones and just enjoyed dancing and dreaming until the very last track. Dear friends, March has been a beautiful month, a month of celebration of women, my birthday and the rebirth of nature and spiritual shifts into the spring equinox. 
What a beautiful time to feel alive. It hasn’t been all about light and healing though, as I’ve had to go through some dark moments too. End of relationships led to new friendships, obstacles which ultimately guided me to new opportunities. As an Aries I am quite the warrior of light and love, and I often try to reflect that in my music. Very happy to share this new mix with you, where I challenged my mixing skills as I approached hypnotic grooves and eclectic sounds. Something that you’ve definitely never heard me playing before.
