This is a mashup of the leading music track to Wizard of Oz.  It starts in accoustic mode, slow and pretty.  Then it kicks into a full blown ska tune.  I get a lot of plays with this song on Reverb Radio

Over the Rainbow

Lizard Stare is my C & W parody.  Here's the fascinating aspect of this song that lies in the lyrics.  The chorus starts, "I'm the prick in Prickly Pairs..."   Here is the ambiguity:  I'm I referring to the derragatory term, "Prick," or am I referring to the sensual feeling of pricking your finger by touching the cactus spines? It's for my listening audience to decide.  If only SoundCloud enabled me to publish my lyrics here, like other sites, e.g., Reverb Nation. Personally, this is my favorite song that I have written so far. It's a dark brooding tune about heart break - yet another that seems to inspire so many of my songs.

This song is on my first CD and written for my son, Morgan "Mo" a/k/a Dreadlok Holmes, a local rap celebrity in Moscow ID and Spokane WA.  Note the chant near the end that starts "Blue Morgan" then to "Dreadlok Holmes."

This song is a little funk, a little rap and as close as I probably get to either.  Lyrically it expresses my own frustrations on dating  sites.  I am proud of the bass line, not really being a bass player.  It rocks.

Phone Friend

SEAL Team 6 is a tribute band honoring the soldiers who rid the world of Bin Laden in the now famous mission known as "Geronemo." . Some tribute bands emulate or give tribute to bands like Led Zepplin, Hendrix, AC/DC, the list goes on. So we thought that SEAL Team 6 a/k/a DEVGRU a/k/a "Monkey Heads" who became national heroes, is certainly deserving of their own tribute band. As we become better funded - that is, if the concept and our music appeals commercially - the plan is to create a trust fund for the college education of ST 6 soldiers or their children. Some people may object to this use of national heroes even though we honor them with this band and the music we publish. They are entitled to their opinion as we are entitled to proceed with our plan under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. If they think this is irreverant or in poor taste, then they don't buy our CDs or attend our shows. The secret of our true intentions is inscribed in Latin in our trademark logo. Translations of Latin phrases to english or any other language is easy. So we need not explain what it means here. We'll keep it a low key secret for anyone who is interested enough to solve the mystery on thier own.

Our style of music is Alternative Rock, including the sub-genres of metal, ska and a few flowery ballads thrown in for diversity. Of course we write our own music but also experiment with "Mashups" of music composed by other people with our own original concepts.  We believe it is withn our rights under federal coyright law, specifically "Fair Use" to create mashups.  When ever possible, our policy is to contact the rightsholders of any music we use in Mashups and request their permission, much the same way as Wierd Al Yankowitz. But we do so while reserving our rights to proceed without permission if that is our decision.  It is professional courtesy at a minimum. The majority of our songs will be music that we've written and published in their entirety.

At the present time we are seeking agents or anyone who likes our music, or thinks, as we do, that there is a market for it. Whether we actually sell our music or not, is not our primary focus.  The members of ST 6 have day gigs or other means of supporting ourselves.  We do this primarily from the heart and our love of creating and performing music. But if we could enable ourselves to retire early from our day gigs so that we can do this full, time, well? Life long dreams will come true. Hence, we intend to shop for labels that might be interested in publishing our music. If any of you who read this can help us in this endeavor, by all means contact us and lets talk.
