One of the fastest rising Producers at the moment is the elusive SevenDoors.
A passion for music is evident, carefully crafting audio with feeling and emotion. SevenDoors is very much a concept, developed over many years and now ready to be unleashed upon the dance community.
His track ’Movement Of Whale’ (out on Diynamic) was among the Top 10 Tunes at Sankeys Ibiza for this season. Solomun has been playing it the last 6 months in nearly every set of his and it was the most talked about track of his Boilerrom Set during BPM in Tulum, Mexico. SevenDoor’s music has already been playlisted by Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Danny Howard and Toddla T on BBC Radio 1 and rinsed by DJs such as Solomun, Scuba, AME, Gardens Of God and Adriatique to mention a few.
After remixes for Icarus on FFRR and Adana Twins on Exploited, he finally makes his debut on Exploited (his release ’Void’ was released a few months ago on the sublabel Exploited Ghetto). With ’Otec’ Sevendoors goes more Electronica but keeps his trademark sound leading “you into a dreamscape that ripples and cascades like a waterfall over large“ (DMC World).

SevenDoors - Megaptera | Exploited

 The latest EP to be released on Seamless Recordings comes from one of Spain’s most respected producers, David Granha.  David is a highly talented and innovative artist with an incredible capability to adapt and create different music styles.  A self proclaimed eclectic, the Galician often navigates between electronic inhospitable scenarios and techie old school confines.
Besides having his own label, Aegyptia Recordings, Granha has released on labels such as Einmusika, KMS, Natura Viva, Soulfooled, Neurotraxx, Sutil, Particles, and microCastle getting support from artists such as Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman or Martin García.  Laurent Garnier commented that “David is one of the producers who makes the kind of hard to listen techno that I love so much” and called his remix of Amir a “Techno bomb”.
His first EP on Seamless has three deep tech house gems, the first of which is Small Rooms.  An intro of high hats, melody and claps builds enticingly before dropping into a deep warm bass.  Long rolling synths combine with bright uplifting arpeggios and a hauntingly simple vocal giving it a similar feel to Tale of Us’ remix of Mano le Tough’s Primitive People.
Already from the intro to Flesh Pleasures you get the impression that it’s a darker, grittier track.  The percussion leads into a bass that has an almost menacing air to it.  The anticipation builds before it settles into its groove led by horns and supplemented with breaks of lighter melodies and subtle distorted and futuristic sounds taking you on a journey through some of the darker tones of tech house.
The most upbeat of the three, Second Rising, is a percussive driven track with some definite old school influences.  Strings are used to dramatic effect at the break.  Long theremin like sounds pulsate throughout with a high energy vocal perfect for peak time sets.
