VGM Challenge #14 - Waltz of the Baroquian

For this challenge I wanted to utilize the hungarian minor scale. My intent was to create something reminiscent of a mystic spy cartoon but it came out quite different from that. It's all in 11/4.

Go East

This is my third track for VGM Academy's 21 Day Composition Challenge.

This one takes a lot of influence from Lorne Balfe's amazing Skylanders soundtracks, which have this amazing mix of orchestral and electronic music into something that sounds so uniquely video gamey, but also stands on its own.

There's some more polish I'd like to do on this song, especially on the drums. When I come back to this track I want to explore mixing in more percussion like in the middle section with the drum beat. 

Some of the instruments featured on this are the marimba from VSCO2 Pro, Strings from Spitfire Albion One and Spitfire Labs Moon Guitar.
