Scar don’t let the bad dreams take hold of my night

Before I was a baby, my mama had an ill
Mama went to the doctor, doctor gave her a pill
Now a hole in my chest might let my heart take flight
Hole in my chest keep on ticking down my time

These are the parts that make me a monster
These are the things I can’t control
These are the parts that make me a mutant
These are the tethers round my soul

Spent my life bent double-forward, pleasin’ everyone
Now I look down at the floor so they can’t steal my fun
