Chances of August is an album that I have been trying to write since 2008.  This page is yet another way that I'm trying to bring it closer to the one that's been living in my head.  Everything you hear is me: instruments, arrangements and vocals.  These are all recorded on just 8 tracks, on an iPad, using Garage Band. 

 I could go on for days explaining the in's and outs of my struggles to bring the songs even this far, but instead, I'll save that, and invite you enjoy the songs as they are.  As I complete one song at a time, or, in other words, reach my own limitations on each song, I'll share it on this page.  Occasionally, I will add new song ideas, covers and just assorted bits as I like.  

Not every thing will be earmarked for my album.  Those that are, will be given the album title in the tag. 

I'm not looking for a record deal.  I've been asked about that and offered those.  These are just my songs.  I write because I write, not in hopes for someone to sign me.  You'll find that when it comes to writing according to "rules" of songwriting, I don't particularly care if it's not perfect, or more specifically "commercial".  

Eventually It would be cool if enough people liked what I do, enough to be invited to play and perform for those that would like to hear it.  That's about the pinnacle of My aspirations musically.
