A classic Steve Wright theme from 1993 was remade for Tash Bandara in Summer 2024 - new drums, new horns, new brass, electronic instrumentation = a fresh new mix; but the same all-important instantly recognizable sax line  that we know and love!!

Pirate Johnnie Walker (Episode 5/10), first broadcast on BBC Radio 2, 9-11pm on Saturday 7th March, 2009. Johnnie recreates the sounds of a bygone era, with classic tracks from 1955-'75 and jingles capturing the vintage pirate radio sound. He invites Tony Blackburn on board.
