LISTEN LOUD, INSPIRED, AND UNINTERRUPTED. 

This mix is essentially a tribute to some of Jonathan Peters’ playlists of the turn of the millennium, and my version of what 2am–4am of my marathon vocal-forward SoundFactory “classics” set might sound like if you asked me to record one. I plan to make more of these, mimicking the 12 to 20 hour sets JP used to lay down for us. 

If you were honing your love of house music in NYC nightclubs from about 2000 to 2002, this should give you flashbacks. 

This set is complete with plenty of EFX machine, some exclusive remixes and edits you can’t hear anywhere else, and little Easter eggs hidden in there for friends who braved the club scene with me. 

Beware, some tracks are low-resolution mp3s, but I’ve done my best to match levels and master the final output.

You’ve never heard these songs mixed like this before, and while I’m always going for about 80% universal approval with track selection, it’s the mixing techniques between/during songs and the rhythmic vibe that I really hope you appreciate. Let me know if you want more.
