MUSIC IS MY DRUG!!!

EDM, TECHNO, DANCE..... What ever you wanna call it, I have been a lover of it since the 90's.
 
Growing up in sunny South Florida, I was lucky to be part of something special, something memorable, something amazing. The "RAVE" scene in Florida during the mid to late 90's was like our parents or grandparents Woodstock, like Seattle's grunge scene of the early 90's, or New York's 70's disco. You just don't understand it unless you were part of it... and if you were, you will never forget it. 
Traveling around Florida to the many big parties held at different fair grounds or convention centers. There were so many to choose from on any weekend, no matter if it was Miami, Lauderdale, Orlando, or Tampa. But one place holds a special place in anyone's heart or mind that ever went... Ft. Lauderdale's historic THE EDGE NIGHTCLUB.
That dirty, dark, and sometimes scary place was the homefront to the South Florida rave scene. It was an alternative rock club until 3am when it changed over to the always packed club of thousands of all walks of life. You never knew what you would see or how things would turn out, But you know you would always have a great time, hear the funkiest and most famous djs, and see the best dancers in America.
Being part of that scene, made me want to have that closer to home after travelling almost every weekend for 2-3 years. So in '97 I started hosting my own events on Florida's Treasure Coast.
No real music or club scene on the Treasure Coast left an opening for us to control the scene how we wanted it.
From '97 to 2008, I hosted hundreds of events in Port St. Lucie , Fort Pierce, and Stuart. Places like Zelmo's, Barcode, The Attic, 007, Club Ice, La Zen and Late Nite.
Just about every pioneer, big name dj and producer that you know of today, played at my events.... Icey, Baby Anne, Huda Hudia, Andy Hughes, Rick West,  Eclipse, Johnny Dangerously, Dj Storm, Dave London and Filthy Rich, Jason Brown, R-Fresh, Magic Mike, Exotic E, Exzact, Sharaz, Tony Faline, Debbie D, and my personal favorite Dj Infiniti probably around 50 different times.
In 2011 I moved to Nashville, Tn expecting not enjoy the music scene , but was extremely surprised that EDM is very strongly represented with weekly big imported djs playing at clubs and huge concerts put on every few months with lineups that compete with EDM states like Florida, Cali, New York, and Chicago.
Every now and then the itch to host an event comes over me, but lacking some resources that I had in Florida keep me fro taking that leap. Anyone interested in venturing with me let me know or if anyone doing something in the scene that needs a veteran with great ideas and knowledge to help and assist with a project, hit me up.
