Hi, So i had this idea back in 2009 to make an album called "dark histories Vol 1". The songs were to be concise. Each track was based upon a word or term  or event that was little known to the general public, or at least talked about. I wanted people to look at each track title as a "little" research project in a sense. This track was inspired by Kevin Annett"s documentary "unrepentant" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88k2imkGIFA
which is about the canadian church killing 50,000 children. In this song a man describes how two young men froze to death by the highway from fleeing the school. When i listen to the track i get a mental image of the sun coming up over the two frozen bodies. The album has about a dozen or so tracks uncompleted. Members of "the pandas " have contributed to several tracks, but since the pandas have been on hiatus since 2010 we will have to see what happens with this recording.

This track is also about the canadian residential school system and is inspired by kevin annett's film "unrepentant" http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6637396204037343133. This might not be an enjoyable experience. I made this in 2009 and just listened to it for the first time in about 2 years. I said to myself today " why did i do this?" and then later said to myself i felt so bad and was so moved  i had to express it musically.
