Produced, written, and performed by one person, The Holding Cell is a vaguely conceptual work that blends elements of trip hop, electronic, drone, noise, glitch hop, lo-fi, dubstep, and metal and applies them to pop songwriting. 

Best listened to loudly, alone, in one sitting, and with headphones.

So for a class project last weekend we each had to write a vocal piece for 4 voices using whatever we wanted as lyrics so long as the piece met a set of requirements based on structure, cadence, etc.

So I wrote mine to the first verse of “I’m Miley Cyrus” and this is is the result.

I was pretty lazy with the recording but I pretty much did it for giggles so whatevs.

Pillars

I don't even like this song or band.
Made this for a remix contest. Not sure that I care for how it turned out. Still feels unfinished to me and there's a lot more I could do to it but I don't like the original and my computer crashes under the weight of the project file, so it's nearly impossible to work on it any further so yeah.
I just wanted to remix a song I'd never heard before.
Also probably the only time I'll ever do straight dubstep (as far as I know, that just kinda happens sometimes), even though the tempo is way slower than 140.
