Here it is — an early morning love letter to Jamaican music, one of the enduring loves of my life. Best listened to with the woofer's woofin' 🔊

At times I serenaded you with soulful reggae; at times, I shelled you with basslines — all straight from my tender heart to yours. Massive thanks to the Akisq’nuk First Nation, the Wicked Woods crew, and ever-expanding gratitude to Indigogh (Jackson), who mastered a track the night before I left for the Woods of Whimsy — so I could bathe the forest creatures in proper root chakra frequencies.

Check out @Indigogh — an insanely talented, grounded, and humble homie based in Vancouver, with some enchanting-as-fuck projects in the pipeline.

Please listen, dance, and share my set from Wicked Woods 2025! I played from 6–7am on Saturday night (or Sunday morning for you normies) in the Unicorn Lounge. Big love to @M3RF for inviting me and trusting me with this sunrise slot. He told me he'd listened to all of my mixes (high praise!) and especially loved a Jamaican dub mix I put out in 2022 (Gettin’ Irie in the Eddy). He asked for morning dubs for the people — and I felt well-equipped for the assignment.

Our first festival set unfolded magically in the daylight... it was a surge of rhythm and heat, with portal-opening bass rolling out beneath the open sky. Joy sparked, bodies moved, and the moment took our breath away. Thank you to all that were a part of such an incredible experience, one we will never forget!

Although, comfortable playing at peak hours PurpleTeeth shines brightest deep into the night - always able to  pull the dance floor back from the brinks with his smooth style.
