Losing Sensibility

We musicians, sometimes manage to take a lot of inspiration from someone, even develop a whole lot of admiration for that someone & end up writing them a song.
By saying writing a song, I've literally played one layer of the Guitar with a Pencil in my strumming hand (Not to be taken in any vulgar manner).

Elegance Surrounds You

In our lives, people do come & go. But in this unfortunately Fast Paced Material driven age of mankind, we tend to forget about the value of a Relationship/Bonding/Connect with each other. Which tends to create a situation where we part ways.

So this song for me, depicts the emotion of a person standing on a cliff, from where a dockyard can be seen below. This person is trying to get the last glimpses of a Loved one, who is about to set sail & part ways for a time period unknown.
These last glimpses trigger in a flashback of memories spent between the two very different, yet connected individuals.
There is a certain feeling of grief, but stronger than the grief is a Hope of meeting again in time to come.
But as the marine vessel slowly pulls away into the distance, to a point where neither can see each other wave goodbye, all memories collapse snapping the two into real time.
Now the feeling of grief is certain, but stronger than the grief is a Hope of meeting again in time to come.

Well, imagine yourself standing maybe in the middle of a street. In the distance you can see chaos, people running for their lives as the floor of the Earth has given way. And you know there is no chance of escaping the turmoil, so you just wait for your turn to be swallowed into the depths of the planet.

Just give me a beautiful convertible to cruise on the French Riviera, & this is the track that would play in my head.
