As a testament to his prolific artistry, he has collaborated with prestigious labels such as SK11, Voitax, Enemy, Fides Records, and his presence has been felt at DVS1's curated parties throughout Europe.

Nearing its tenth anniversary, Fides Records stands as a testament of Z.I.P.P.O's sonic vision.
Under its emblem, the birth of 3KZ, a side project born by Z.I.P.P.O and Kaelan, was soon recognized by Resident Advisor as “Sci-Fi Tinged Techno”. Meanwhile, his releases have graced compilations curated by the likes of Ryan Elliot and Amelie Lens for Fabric, his distinctive sound captures the imagination as it oscillates between ethereal introspection and captivating energy

On the dance floor Z.I.P.P.O’s performances are defined by his eclectic selection, deeply rooted in his vast record collection and representing a profound love for the club culture. Whether it's one of his signature marathon closing sets at Tresor, or sunlit festivals like Polifonic and Boiler Room, his contribution consistently highlights the Italian artist's dedication, establishing Z.I.P.P.O as a luminous figure in the ever-evolving realm of electronic music.

Sone - Klangangriff podcast #114

M.F.S: Observatory is Mattia Turchetti, a London-based Italian who constantly innovates in the studio and has put out a wealth of raw, deep sounds and live beats that push genre boundaries. With releases on top labels such as Second State, Complexed Records and Kneaded Pain, his music has picked up widespread acclaim while he has played everywhere from Helsinki to Berlin and Italy. He heads up his own Observatory Music label, which is where he returns now with his latest irresistible dance floor missives.

The title cut kicks off with thumping Detroit techno drums and pulsing synths that bring warm waves of emotion to what is a soulful cut. 'Squence C' is darker and more mysterious with a creepy blend of synth modulations and stark melodies over heavy, dubby beats. 'Kalimba' shows off M.F.S: Observatory's ability to program killer beats with rumbling low ends and razor-sharp hi-hats, all making for perfect stripped-back but effective body music. 'Dubby' is a textured wonder with fizzing pads, jostling broken beat patterns and dark energy, while 'This Is How We Do' pairs pounding kick drums with tripped-out synths and siren-like stabs that bring the rave. Elsewhere 'Reversed Sustain' explores the outer edges of the cosmos with twinkling melodies, 'Take Your Life' is a thrilling mix of wiry lines and vocal fragments, breaks and hard edge bass and 'Break Reverse' closes down with zoned-out pads and tough breakbeats.

PREMIERE: M.F.S: Observatory - This Is How We Do [Observatory Music]

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from DMN. The Paris-based artist has been making waves since his debut in 2019. DMN has developed a hybrid and singular aesthetic blended with various influences. Radical and futuristic soundscapes rub shoulders with old school-inspired basslines, in an uninterrupted flow in which an intense and percussive rhythm dominates, sometimes contrasted by cutting edge Break or Electro bases. A pluralistic and eclectic approach echoing his programming for the MESS Paris events for which he manages the creative direction, in addition to heading his two own projects like Hentai's party. These various collaborations have fueled an overflowing creative appetite, opening up a fertile space for a continually renewed musical hybridization and experimentation. Today we bring you this dynamic journey through his sound.

Sean Ocean is a DJ, Producer, Live Act, Promoter, Sound System Owner Operator, Pianist, blogger, and music reviewer based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Sean's main focus has been a profound love for techno and electro music stemming from the SF Rave Scene in the 90s, and since then techno has been a driving force in his life. 

For some people techno is a part time love, for Sean it is a lifestyle choice and his love for it is rooted in the very core of his being. It is Sean's goal as an artist to help synthesize his own knowledge and experience to help advance the world of techno in creative and interesting ways.. from body punishing soundsystem workouts, to artistic creative explorations, to solid grooving jackin’ tracks, his voice is the continuation and culmination of 30 years of techno music and hopes to help confirm the positive creative direction in techno music for 30 years more.
